The Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge (LIMBC) 2011 is an exhilirating five-day mountain bike race followed by a one-day jamboree event held in the scenic tropical island of Langkawi, Malaysia. The LIMBC 2011 is not for the faint hearted. Whilst the race is an adrenaline packed challenge for riders wanting to experience the ultimate test of skill and ability in hopes of obtaining winning attractive cash prizes, the LIMBC 2011 is also a golden oppurtunity for riders to compete in never before ridden sections within the tropical rainforest of Langkawi’s most breathtaking scenic areas. Following its successful launch in 2010, LIMBC is the first of such an event organized and held within a protected wild life area of the region. Tropical landscape highlights and fantastic encounters with nature guarantee a event experience like no other. With limited participation of only 1000 participants, the LIMBC 2011 race is from 18th October – 22nd October, with the Jamboree event on 23rd October 2010 and is set to become the ultimate tropical rainforest MTB challenge.

OCBC Cycle Malaysia is the only mass participation cycling event on closed, public roads in Kuala Lumpur which caters to all level of cyclists. There will be a range of community/recreational events to cater for everyone; from a challenging ride in which serious cyclists can prove themselves in the 48km Challenge, to a leisurely 24km Community ride for friends, as well as a children’s rides and a carnival.

A 160KM course through Ipoh City Center, Kellies's Castle, Kg. bali, Sri Iskandar, Parit, Bota Kiri,Parit and ended and Dataran Ipoh. Mountain bikes, Hybrid bikes stricly NOT ALLOWED due to the nature and distance. There will be water station at every 40KM intervals. Fee is RM100 before July 1st 2011 (after 1st Jult, entry fee is RM150) Participants will be given goody bag, even T-Shirt, finisher medal, Certificate of achivement and post even lunch! Event organized by Kelab Roadrunners Ipoh (KRI). KRI is today widely recognized and highly respected as The organizer of major race events in Perak. With more than 20 years of experience in race planning, organization and management, KRI is outsourced by organizations throughout the state to organize all manner of running and (of late) cycling events, from company runs to large scale races, providing valuable support services and input to ensure every event is a success for organizer, sponsor and participant alike.

Kami dari J-Bikers dan S2H Cycle dengan sukacitanya ingin mengumumkan bahawa Jamboree MTB Jasin akan berlangsung lagi untuk kali keduanya pada 29 May 2011. Sama seperti tahun yang lepas, cuma jarak laluan untuk jamboree kali ini telah dikurangkan ke 45km++ dan lokasi laluan ini adalah meliputi lima ( 5 ) rupabentuk mukabumi ( Laluan Jalanraya / Ladang Getah / Ladang Kelapa Sawit/ Taman Perumahan / Kawasan Kampung ) di kawasan sekitar Pekan Jasin yang meliputi Kampung Air Barok, Kampung Kesang, Kampung Kesang Pajak, Kampung Kemengkang, Felda Tun Ghafar Baba Kemendor, Kampung Seri Kesang, Kampung Orang Asli Gapam II, Kampung Bukit Katong, Kampung Rim, Jasin Height dan Stadium Jasin. Secara teknikal, program ini lebih kepada acara ' x country ' yang memberi peluang kepada para peserta untuk menjelajah laluan yang telah ditetapkan dalam tempoh masa selama lima (5) jam.
1st Hulu Selangor 2011 Mountain Bike Jamboree
My.Mountainbike.Addict
My.Mountainbike.Addict would like to invite all mountain bikers in Klang Valley, other states and Singapore and Thailand to a group ride at Kuala Kubu Bharu – Batang Kali, Ulu Rening, Rasah and Kuala Kubu treks. Let’s all get together to share our enthusiasm for the sport and willingness to help each other in building and maintaining multi-use single track in the area. The date is Sunday, May 15 (Saturday May 14th is the Dry Run date), and the flag off location is Dewan Millenium Bandar Utama Batang Kali. Registration will be held from 7-9 AM with the rides beginning at 9:30 AM and lasting for about 3-4 hours. The trails will show you some of the best and most beautiful single track in the Hulu Selangor area. There will a few Check Point with water stops. But you should be self supported, meaning bring your own water, tools, tubes, etc while on the trail! Riders under the age of 18 need to have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Finally don’t forget about our picnic after the ride. Don’t forget your favorite beverages and something warm to change into after the ride. Also bring some chairs unless you want to sit on the ground. As an added incentive to attending, we have an entertainment crew hard at work coming up with some fun things to do during the picnic and social time during and after the ride.
